Why do people keep congratulating us?

It wasnt a prize. It wasnt something we won. It wasnt something we asked for in the petition even.

The new heal is a hack disguised as "balance" to try and cover up SOE's current lack of imagination or willingness to address current and real game issues, not just for druids, but for all classes.

There are things they could have done instead which would have been more useful and balancing in the long run. This, as it sits, is a band-aid, nothing more. It will probably have to suffice until EQ closes its doors, since the masses who see druids get *any* improvement will cry about any possible further fixes.

So stop saying congrats!

In a way, the SotD did ask for TR. Healing suggestion 3.

3) Give Druids a larger direct heal. Nature's Touch is insufficient for our current needs; the damage-per-second output of mobs has far surpassed the ability of Nature's Touch to keep even ourselves healthy, much less an entire group.

Everything except the cold debuff, improved dot, and 2 of the four suggested heal improvements from the SotD has been implemented. 80% of the SotD suggestions are now in-game, and many of the remaining suggestions are being used in PoP.
