Here's somthing I though of while renewing my membership fees to the BDA: Check it out if you will.

As it is, please give us our dern heal spell on thursday, i would really hate getting kicked in the head by another cleric upgrade patch.

Sample patch message for thursday:

"Changes as of 26 Sep 2002
-We have increased the damage of the Clerics DD spells for added damage to reflect damage similar to other healing classes like druids.
-Cleric heals are now all blanketly reduced by 100 mana.
-The dmg delay on the cleric hammer will now be 20 dmg 5 delay, we tested this last night about an hour b4 the patch went in and thought it a good idea.
-Shamans torpor spell no longer has negative effects, these effects have upset shaman and we can't have that.
-Shamans have received an upgrade to their pets and it will now become a level 52 druid wolf pet with lvl 52 ranger melee skills, that snares, DoTs, and nukes for 650 dmg and heals itself from time to time. Also useful for PLing.
-Enchanters will now have a healing spell that will do 1000 hp of healing for 200 mana 3 sec cast called , "DruidsEndlessBitching", we felt that enchanters need more love.
-Sorry, due to the need for more testing, the 75 % druid partial CH has not been added this patch, it has been changed on test though to level 58 and will be dropping on various mobs in Vex Thal, also cast time increased to 20 seconds.
-Alan

And don't forget to pre-order Planes of Power, only $39.99 plus tax and druids will be guaranteed their 75% heal with this patch (not a guarantee). "

Please feel free to brainstorm and add to the patch message, it'll be fun.

- It was discovered that the ability to stop snow was too powerful so Wake of Karana will no longer be able to stop it. Actually we got rid of it's ability to stop rain too and it'll take too much work to fix.

This one we can be pretty sure won't be happening. Why? Because one of the Shaman level 65 PoP spells is .... Torpor without the negative effects. If they removed the negatives from Torpor they would have to come up with something new to replace that level 65 spell.

The rest of it is at least semi-plausable.

I would not be surprised if their solution to class balancing looked a little like this:

After much thought about class balancing, the developer staff assigned to this task has come up with a solution that we think will make all priest classes happy. We have read the many complaints from the druid community about not being needed/wanted in end-game raiding. We also realize your concern about having a need for more than one or two druids on a raid. Your cleric friends have helped us come up with a new spell that solve these problems without treading into their healing territory.

This new spell is called Nature’s Sacrifice. It will be added to cleric vendors across Norath with the next patch so we can see what effect it will have on the live servers. Even though this is a level 58 cleric spell, it will make druids across Norath in great demand for end-game raiding. When this spell is cast the druid that is closest to the casting cleric (the developers felt that making the cleric have to target the druid might take too long) will be sacrificed similar to the necromancer sacrifice spell. Don’t worry about abuse with this spell because we will give the druid the option to decline the sacrifice similar to the message box we display for resurrections. However, due to complications with the new UI we cannot display this message if the druid is in the middle of casting or typing in a chat window so we will automatically assume the druid clicks yes to save time and prevent complications.

Upon completion of the sacrifice, the casting cleric will have a stackable, no-rent gem (that will disappear upon leaving the current zone) in his inventory. The gem will be apply called ‘Spirit of the Druid’. If a cleric has a corpse of a fallen comrade targeted and right clicks on a gem that comrade will receive a 100% resurrection without any resurrection effects common to the spell line of resurrections. Also, the corpse will not have to be looted because the PC’s equipment will be in exactly the same place as when he/she died. This will allow this useful comrade to join back into the fight without the usual time wasted from traditional battle resurrections. We have set limitations to this spell similar to the necromancer line. The sacrificed druid can’t be resurrected for experience and it can only be cast on a level 46 or higher druid because we want the druid to be able to get back into the plane to loot corpses.

In conclusion, we feel that this addresses all concerns of the priest community with a single spell. First, there will be a need for an unlimited amount of druids on end-game encounters. Second, this addresses the concerns of druids not being able to find experience groups past level 50 because, due to the nature of the sacrifice, most raiding druids will be level 46 to 50.

It's BDC.

You have to pay your D.U.C.K dues first.

Then you have to get 3 sponsers for the BDC...To Be One, Ask One.

Priest Changes
-Druid spells that require Fire Beetle Eyes as a component will now consume the eye. Due to coding issues, Fire Beetle Eyes will not stack.

-Druids receive a new spell, Consonance, a PBAoE upgrade to Harmony, at level 59. Casting time is 18.5 seconds, 450 mana. Consonance will not work on mobs flagged as immune to Harmony.

-Druids receive Abundant Food and Drink spells at level 52. We believe this will put them more in line with their Cleric brothers and sisters.

-Chloroblast has had its casting time increased to 4 seconds.

-Shamans receive a new spell, Dah Kura's Gift, a group version of Chloroblast, at level 57. Casting time is 4.5 seconds, 250 mana.

-Shamans receive Ensnare at level 44.

-Shamans receive Circle of Seasons at level 53.

-Shamans receive Spirit of Eagle at level 55.

-Shamans receive Bhi Li's Replication, granting 35Hp/tick regeneration for the group. This spell lasts for 15 minutes, costs 600 mana, and is available at level 59.

That patch message is ridiculous. PoP only costs $29.99.

Yeah, that was part of the patch message Tumadorf, they raised the price an extra 10 bucks so that they could hire more imaginary ppl to work on balancing.

Aphro, I think you missed the point of Tuda's post.

The only part that he found to be at all hard to believe was the pricetag on PoP.
