Ok, it seems like all my music is this moody female angst music. It's just not what I want to hear when I'm working! I need some bouncy, up music! Like B-52's, but maybe not quite so raucous. I can only do B-52's so long before I'm bouncing off the ... sattelites. Any suggestions?

I'm listening to Dire Straits right now.

Dire Straits is good. I heard too much of them in the 90's though and burnt out. Ah... I remember one band I used to like, Depeche Mode. Are they still around? Although, they were sort of moody too.

REM is kinda happy (well, about half of it is). I find Beach Boys to be great when I need happy music.

I also like a few collections of Irish folk fiddle music and anything in the zydeco family to be good music to work to.

Good idea! Reggae would be good! Afro-pop too.

I'm listening to this sexy Tara MacLean song, its definitely not inspiring the right frame of mind for working!

Yup, DM is still around and still great.

Plenty of upbeat songs to choose from, and even a lot of their "moody" songs can be rather "dancy".

"moody female angst music."

That's half my stuff. /smile

Anyways, theres that new poppy Maria Mena. Will get overplayed real soon. Best you listen to it before that happens.

Milla Jovavich's old 1994 album is on the lighter side, but well done.

Social Distortion, always good.

Placebo is good, andro though.

Whale, nice and clean. Very sexual.

Ruby, 10 times more female angst than you are probably used to.

Velvet Underground, classic never fails.

Sonic Youth, all sonic, no youth. /smile

Kate Bush, can't go wrong with ANY of her stuff.

Baxter, female moody big time, but you may not have heard of her.

Ministry of Sound is good background music, forgot that one.

No sexy music for work! It is too distracting! :)

Kate bush! Good idea. She's not too moody usually.

I gotta remember to grab the B-52's and take to work. Its light, its whacky and its bouncy! Who can go wrong listening to a song about a 2" tall poodle named Quiche Lorraine?
