Anyone hear anything yet about what AA's are planned for OoW ?

I currently have 750 AA's ( 23 saved ). My plan is to save 30 for OoW release in the hopes something good is in the works. Or will it just be more of the same items but increased abilities to what we have.

If you've got to 750AA's then you're obviously quite happy to grind for useless AA's, so does it really matter?

You know, I could edit my post and just ask :

Maybe I just should have asked that. I play for fun not to grind for "Useless AA's"
So since you know they will be useless, care to enlighten on what they are?

I appreciated the fact that no one had replied because I guess they don't know, then you get people who make the above comment. Maybe you belong in the Bitter Druid section?

Heh, no kidding. That was pretty rude.

Anyway... havent heard anything at all. Still so many undecided and undeveloped necessary things, aa's among them it seems. (Besides the one they say will let us have more buff slots.)

Tiane, I forgot about that one.

Funny that's the only one I do recall them discussing. I hope it goes live.

No idea. More buff slots was one discussed, another was *possibly* an increase to FT cap. Dont know of any other rumors.

No idea on actual AAs but there is one I'm hoping for. I really like the leadership ability that shows you the buff timer. This would be a good AA in my opinion. There'd be no more C3 dropping just as I start a quad kite.

Have not heard but like the idea of a low cost AA that lets you check your own buff timer why should oyu have to be grouped and with someone that has the leadership AA to see them.

This is on TEST now and is free. Just hold and hover you cursor over a buff and you see the duration remaining on your own buff.

Sucks for those of us who wasted the 10 group AA's on inspect buffs 1&2.

Oh well.

I still hold that inspect buffs group aa should have been to allow people to inspect the mob's buffs...would be slightly more usefull.

One less reason for leader-xp hogs not to give up the group leadership during phase3/phase5 ! (Yes, it's a peeve...)

I know that the last few replys were about inspecting benificial buffs but I would really like to have a timer for long term detrimental spells. Would be nice to know in advance when debuffs or dots are about to wear off. Would also like this ability to take into account extended duration focus efects and anything that increases duration.

I haven't heard any other specifics that haven't been mentioned. Based on the last couple of expansions, I wouldn't expect many unique AAs for OoW. I have been completely underwhelmed at SOE's creative (or lack thereof) effort in this arena. I know that a lot of work goes into balancing class AA abilities but these should be the things that make the classes both fun and unique. Instead, we get things like improved channeling, run speed, etc. Granted, it helps our toon but really gives no great thrill when we train them. I still have fond memories of training IC, Exodus, SoTW, even RC1 because they were unique and added depth to my character.

Hiya Glynna long time no see. You have 750AA, damn thats a fine effort.

I'm back in EQ now (although mostly on an alt) but I'll say hi if I see you around.

As to the subject :) I've been away too long to have any comments
