Last night I was main healer for a sewer expedition. i think it was number 2? (we have to kill 4 named things then hand something in)I did fine. group was necro, pally, chanter,bl,ranger, and me. I would drop hand of ro almost immediately .. then start watching health. I had no problems keeping up as main healer. no down time thanks to necro mind whacks... and I was even able to nuke some... I dont' have a large mana pool... over 4k buffed.. and alteration specced.

Is this normal? are people complaining about not being able to main heal in this content? or is it just the harder GoD content?

Its mostly the harder GoD content. Most of the sewer runs can be done with a cleric/druid, its Vxed and Tipt that start pretty much requiring a cleric healer due to the dps of the mobs in question and the higher likelyhood of death.

Either way, grats on the MH role. Id say with your mana pool its still an impressive feat. Those sewers can get rough.

Trial 1 is druid MH doable. Its not easy but doable. The key is to not bother pacing heals on the 9 stone mites and the group keeping the pulls out of the water while not aggroing wanderers from steps or social aggro from the indifferent stonemites. Too low on steps no heals, to high on steps social aggro. Fighting in the corner is also an option if the MT stays above the water. Keeping whoever is on rampage up can be tricky. I had a 8k pally tanking with a BL on rampage and kept them both up. I have roughly 5k mana pool and burned about 50% each mob, there is no rush you can med to full between each pull. Avoid getting screwy aggro and the last one is also doable but you will burn about 80% of your mana and probably have to let the rampage tank eat it. HA3 HG3 AHA/AHG are all pluses of course criticals on NI/SI will definitely help. If you are an alteration druid chaining NI/SI shouldn't be a problem.
