No error message when trying to update preferences (sig) and not entering a password. I'm sure my guild was entertained by my rage at the sig that wouldn't change though.

Oh yeah.. and I finally got it to use my old little personal picture (which is about 6x size in jpg compared to bmp, wtg). ^_^

Make it a 2 color .gif,,,won't even register in size.

Seriena, down at the bottom where you've got the password changing options, put your current password in the box where it asks for that, then change everything you need to, then hit 'save changes'. That's how I fixed it for me.

Ah. Gif compression, hadn't occured to me, I'll have to try recompressing the original bmp again anyways, my luck I did the compression at 100% quality <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/embarassed.gif ALT=":o">

Go to preferences.
Edit your signature.
Highlight your entire signature and use CTRL + X to cut/copy it.
Hit save.
Go back to preferences. Your signature will be blank.
Click in there and CTRL + Y to paste the signature in.
Save.

It will take everytime this way, but you do have to blank it out once.
