Cancelling my 2nd account felt good. This one, my main, makes me sad.

/comfort, that is a hard step to take. And saying goodbye to friends in game was really hard.

It does get easier as you are away longer. Enjoy the extra time you have now. It's been great to be out doing more things than I used to, hope it is for you as well :).
