With GoD they jacked up the AA costs a ton, something I assume they are going to continue with OOW. What they did not change, though, was the 30 limit on saved AAs. I am fine with their rationale on XP being easier (we'll see what happens when we are level 70 though, could be a large contraction of good XP zones - especially for Charmless Druids) so that AAs needed to increase in cost, but the result was a nerf on instant buying of AAs on new exapansions. Since AA costs went up we should be allowed to bank more AAs too - I think doubling it to 60 AAs would be appropriate.

I have been thinking the same thing. I now have 680 AA with 30 saved and I am now buying truly worthless stuff. I'd love to be able to bank another 30.

680 AA? OMG. As a new druid (59 and no AA), I dont understand why they have a limit at all on the banking of AA. Have they ever given a reason?

I have maxed all my aa's and hardly ever get to train LAA :\. I just work on quests and also all my 30 reserved are saved.

I wholeheartedly agree with raising the limit above 30. I would dearly love to save more AA now for OoW. Instead, I will have my 30, use it where I want it most, and then spend time leveling to 70. It'll be awhile before I'll be able to go back to AA experience.

If I remember correctly, they said something like:

"It seems only fair that you earn the AA's in the expansion you intend to use them in".

Kinda bogus, but didn't surprise me. This way someone can't have all their new expansion AA's completed 5 minutes after logging in.

On another note, I do NOT agree with increasing the cost even more. The GoD AA"s are already way overpriced. They are priced as if you are an uber earning an AA in an hour or less (some say 20 minutes). Remember, PoP (or even GoD) is not supposed to be required for OoW. If I only had Kunark/Velious, exactly where would I be getting all these AA's from?

Even if the new OoW AAs are 3 points each it still is going to take a ton of people lots of time to get them as I am sure their prerequisites are going to be corresponding GoD AAs. This is ok for people with 600+ AAs stocked away but for me, at least, this means that OoW AAs are a long long ways away. Mind you I am no slouch 300ish AAs here but no where touching upon half the GoD AA points that I see going to be necessary.

I havent been able to make experience for the last 3 months
(maxed out at 821 aa)

I think the 30 AA cap is fine
- its all part of making you spend more time in the expansion

otherwise I would have over 200 unspent aa saved for the expansion ;)

I really hope GoD AAs arent requirements for any of OOW AAs cause I didn't get any of those overpriced mediocre AAs other than the reasonably priced Spell casting subtlety (we still had to pay more for it than int casters though). Also, I hope the AA requirements are priced similar to Luclin/PoP instead of insane GoD costs. AA requirements shouldn't be centered around people who use bards to powerlevel themselves swarm kiting and making 6-8 AAs an hr ;p (not trying to imply that anyone here did that).

They will have high costs to them, maybe not as inflated as GoD aa's were at the higher levels, maybe increasing relative to the increase in value for each level instead of by multiples.

I dont see any other way for them to do it as we have Luclin and PoP aa's that are all reasonably priced, but now that the max level is being raised to 70, while the exp requirement per AA remains the same (equivalent to level 50), that means that a level 70 gains aa much more faster than a level 60, which was the level limit at the time of Luclin when AA's were introduced.

The increased in AA-ability cost in GoD is justified, whether it was over the hill or not is a relative question and I believe that in some circumstances it was.

I can almost gaurentee that the Nuke/Heal/DOT aa's in OoW will have pre-req's as the GoD equivalents...its been like that for each expansion, I see no reason why to change it.

Putting fix price to AA xp was dumb.

I just wish we could bank more than 30 AAs, since ive got Fire flagged and have all the AAs I want currently (other than the over priced GoD AAs that I just dont wanna **** away my AAs on) ive been able to make AAs pretty fast, but I still dont wanna blow hard work on something small like GoD AAs.

If I were allowed to, I would have 55 AAs saved now, but ive had to spend 30 on innate resists, and sometime this week im gonna have to spend more on innate resists or just finally breakdown and buy some of the overpriced GoD AAs (crit affliction 2/3, Run 4/5, or, ugh, Secondary Forte...)

Actually I was impressed with the Crit Dot AA we got, YES its expensive but u cast three dots on a target and every other tick does Crit its insane dps that we cant even begin to compensate for otherwise. Yes, i totally agree its too expensive hence why i have not put more than 2 tiers worth in them. But hopefully when they adjust the AA's we will get a refund on some of em.

The devs have posted stating that they are looking at the costs of some of the GOD AA's and it is possible some costs will be lowered. Bear in mind they have not said they will lower any, but they are taking a second look at them.

I understand that a lot of the AA's will have level requirements of 66+. Not that it will bother me much to need 66 for some things, I'm almost all the way through with 65, so I should get to 66 pretty quickly after the expansion.
