I finally dinged 60 (only took me OVER 4 years), and was wondering where I should head to now.

I have been in PON, POD, and Natimbi.

I do not have any flags, and will only be soloing.

Am I in the right spots? Any other ideas?

I would suggest grouping in PoV to get level 62 and once you are level 62, exp in BoT.

Thanks for the reply. Any tips or advice for Valor? Can I solo there, or is a group required? Does it have to be a large group, and can it be duo'd, etc?

Do you get there via POT?

I have never been there nor have I looked into it yet.

Thanks so much

At 62 skip BoT and go straight to HoH especially if you prefer soloing. You can both quad kite or root rot in HoH. GY is relatively safe now that most of the idiots are all in OoW.

Thanks, but I have to hit 62 first. It may take me another 4 years to get there. :banghead:

For Valor, just group near the AD wall (Aerin`Dar Wall), inside the caves, or near the bridge. You might be able to solo there, I know of Necros and Enchanters who have. A definate advantage to having a group there is the fast pulls.

You do get there via PoTranq, but I'm unsure of the stone that you click. I -think- it's the one with the badge on it.

PoV is great exp in a group, but if you plan on soloing I would suggest heading to far north end of the zone (beside Aerin`Dar's lair) and root/rotting crystalline golems and crawlers. Stay away from the spiders, as most are immune to root/snare. All mobs in that area can be harmonied and easily single-pulled to the west wall if you're careful; just keep Egress memorized in case you aggro a snare immune mob.

Of course, I'm not saying you can't kite one that's snare-immune, but it is tedious and those mobs hit pretty hard; if one snags you, you'll probably be stunned and take a few hits before you can get away. At level 60 (and I'm guessing you're not equipped with raid quality gear), those few hits would probably take most of your health, then you're wasting time getting distance from the mob and wasting mana on a heal.

All that being said, personally my advice for someone who solos almost exclusively would be to stick with PoD if you're looking for exp ... charm a rat and go to it. Puslings in the first middle house don't summon, are not difficult to snare, and give great exp at 60. But if you're looking for a new place to explore, PoV is good.

Be VERY careful listening to advice, because some druids aren't very careful when giving it. They're not misleading you intentionally; they just don't always take into consideration that your character doesn't yet have the benefit gear for 7k HP, 1300 AC, full defensive AAs, SoTW, etc... heck, most of the time they won't even stop to consider that your biggest fast heal is still chloroblast and your biggest DoT is WD. :)

Good luck!

If you want to solo and get tired of the planes, at 60 you can quad the tro jeg on the plateau in Scarlet Desert. The warders are shamans, though, so you'll have to single kill them. All the tro jeg except the named (Kraen Flameweaver) can be snared and rooted. Also, you can charm the blooktusks (except the exhausted bloodtusk, which is level 55) in Nadox. The bloodtusks beasts are the highest level, boars are medium, swine are lowest. None are particularly magic resistant, so you can snare, glamour, and charm.

Good luck wherever you go. Level 60 goes by much faster than any of the 50s :)

I looked at my map of POD, and I am not sure where the puslings are. ARe they by the castle?

Not near the castle.

From zone entrance, invis and head due north; you'll pass several fly-looking mobs along the shore (leave them alone) .. when you reach the zone wall you'll have water on the right, and a small valley to the left. Go up that valley (west) until you reach the clearing. Turn right and you're in the north recess of the zone, where there are several pusling houses.

Thanks again.
I tried to do some scouting last night, but since I just hit 60, and a death wold cause me to lose a level, I did not want to take any chances.

I will try that area out today.

Thanks again

I'm just 60 as well (after nearly five years :) ) and I hunt in POJ sometimes. Easy root rotting sentries, gaolers and rats.

at 60 i stayed in PoJ killing Gaolers ( Level 57-59 ) and High Guardians ( Level 60 )
the xp is AWESOME, especially if they are even con like these will be.

60 flies by anyway and there it's just ablink and you're 61..

these are soloable, NON-summoning. snare and rootable.

i usually went down to HG area ( by the jail ), and brought it back to the BIG square close to the exit. round and round and round until it dropped dead. you won't get any adds and it's jsut good clean fun ..

At 60 ME usually is easy exp. Not many people away from the zin, charmable mobs and easy to quad or Root/rot once you learn the area and mobs. There is also a named wurm you can kite or use a pet on if you know how.

Something I learned quite to my shock and at the worst time with my mage 2 weeks ago - when you die in level 60 you loose an entire orange of xp. Keep your 59 spell bank memmed just in case.

any suggestions on where to hunt (solo) at 64/65 while waiting to get a group or when you don't have enough time for a group?
