It looks like if you fail, and just stand by the KT zone in for a half hour the event will restart. However, I am not sure why we failed sometimes and not others. By fail I mean the Ritual Conduit despawns but the Noc Juggernaut does not spawn.

We think that it is either we did not kill enough Reborns in X amount of time or it is because the Druid egressed and that caused the Conduit to despawn.

Does anyone know how this works?

I'm planning on trying this today. How many people should I bring with me? 1 group? 2 groups? We're roughtly VT-geared folks, average level 67 or so.

Egress does not despawn the conduit, its strictly on a timer, about 30-40 minutes.

I duo'd 6 of the Reborn with a beastlord (he has a mishmash of time and VT gear, and some qvic, about 8khp with steeloak, SV and kazad) before the conduit despawned. The first 4 were easy, then we had problems pulling (level 66 mobs, too high for harmony of nature), I died, then we managed to split one using the KT zone line and snare, then the locals respawned and we got a second one using assist agro from a local, then the Ritual conduit despawned. The kills themselves were easy (though they have about 40-45k hp), had we had a bard, or sk to pull, I'm sure we would've won.

Thanks. But why does the Juggernaugh pop sometimes but not others? Do you have to kill a certain number of Reborns within this 30-40 minutes?

Just a couple things I learned from my failed attempt last night...

As you kill each Reborn you can watch the Ritual Conduit go up in level. With me at 67, it went from blue for several kills then on each subsequent kill to white to yellow to spawn - Noc Juggernaut. So it seems like the Conduit has to reach level 68, then the next Reborn killed will spawn the Juggernaut.

You have to engage the Juggernaut once it spawns. One of the other posts indicated that you should clear the other Reborns first. Well, I can confirm that if you don't kill the Juggernaut relatively quickly, he will despawn. We spent no more than a minute or two debating whether we should rush him or pull more Reborns, then we got a message something to the effect of "The energies which created this creature are pulled back into the void" and he was gone.

We tried killing the remaining reborns and then leaving the zone, as one person suggested, but it did not respawn the encounter. I did not see the post at the top here about waiting 30 minutes, so I can't confirm if that would have worked or not.

Hope this helps!

I'm at the natimbi part in my epic, I was wondering, since the Noc juggernaut despawns if you dont engage him fairly quickly, do you still have to kill all the reborns before you kill the Juggernaut? Meaning, do you have to off-tank the Juggernaut while you kill the final 4 reborns?

When my guild helped me with this part of the epic, we first screwed up by killing all the reborns at the lower part of the ledge which just had 4 reborns. When we figured out our plan, we just pulled 1-3 reborns at a time from the top, killed them off 1 at a time and mezzed the others. When we had all the reborns on the top platfrom gone, we engaged and killed the Juggernaut. Both the Ritual conduit and Noc Juggernaut are on a timer if not attacked, they will despawn (Seems like the Noc Juggernaut will despawn within 8-10 min of spawning). We had the Ritual Conduit and Noc Juggernaut despawn on us a couple times. If you watch, the Ritual conduit does increase in level after reborns are killed. Don't worry about the ones on the bottom platform. Just clear the top and engage. He does have that AE mana drain, but it is resistable if you have a bard singing an MR song. Bring about 2 groups and make sure you have a cleric or 2 along with some CC to mez the reborns. They do respawn in about 15-30 min after one of the 2 despawn. GL

Just did this last night. I had two groups.

70 War
70 Cleric
70 Rogue
70 Mage
70 Ranger x 2
68 Dru x 2
66 Pal
66 Dru x 2
66 Enc

Had other 11 move over to Runed Stone and wait on hill to the west of the platform. I explained what would happen while I was still at port in, and then when everyone said ready I had Mage CoH me over. About 30 seconds later Ritual Conduit and his reborns spawned (6 up top, 4 down below).

We did not kill any of the reborns from down below. Waste of time. I used Nature's Serenity on 5 of the reborns up top and then I pulled the sixth. Max hit reborn 600. Somehow on 5th pull the other one agro'd. Enc was able to mez with no problems. Also was able to snare the Reborns.

The Ritual Conduit would agro with each reborn, but would warp back after leaving the platform. A couple times it warped late and got a hit or two in on us (took me to 25% once before it warped back). After the 6th Reborn was dead Noc Juggernaut spawned.

We debuffed it before engaging since it was leashed as well. Had 70 War call the charge and we rushed in. Have healers move to the east/south east side of the platform and get underneath (out of LoS) to avoid AE mana drain. Spam heal MT. Slow never landed but Tash and Malo did. 70 War reported max hit once defensive was 1250, but around 800-900 usually. With 4 primary healers (one of the 66 druids was being boxed and was nuking mostly), we had no problems keeping MT alive. Two of the other druids did get caught in AE and finished fight OoM. Myself and other cleric finished with 25m. Couple of people commented on the large number of HP. 4 min from engage to death of Noc. He casted his AE, Energy Conduit, 11 times.

Did get a chest and received Muramite Chain Coif of Battle (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=32504).

Thanks to the others who had posted info on this fight.

Ok, quick question and I appologize if this has been answered but does the event spawn from a druid at the right point in the epic zoning into Natimbi or by going near the event area. Thanks.

Going near the event area. It won't spawn if you run to Qinimi, but it will spawn if you run to Kod'taz/Qvic.

want to chime in that the event 'reset timer' would indeed seem to be 2 hours. We tried to two of these, back-to-back, and after an hour... the event still hadn't reset. we didn't want to wait around for another hour.

yup 2 hours like all epic encounters.
