Yesterday i just saw this one druid claimed to be a outlast druid?. what build is this? he seemed to rape in dueling cause the main focus of him was hella high spirit/stam but low damage. basically outlast them and let em die of thorns/minor damage. has anyone heard of this? im just extremely curious on what this is @_@

It's typically a resto or balance/resto druid that goes for gear with high armor, stamina, and spirit. They spend most of their time in bear, shifting out to heal, and just take the hits. They don't hit for much because of their gear and spec, but they can last a long time in melee. They don't need a huge mana pool because it regenerates so quickly.

It's very effective against Warriors. It's pretty much a standoff against a Paladin or a non-Moonkin druid. Stun lock rogues, mages, and Moonkin druids can give you some problems. Hunters, shaman, priests, and warlocks will eat your lunch.

Moved to Spells and Talent Discussions since this is about builds.

Speaking of "outlasting" type of builds.

A resto druid should never duel another resto druid. This will put you to sleep.
