I'm 47 now, and just playing around with possible builds:

I want to be Resto/Balance, mainly Resto to be useful in groups, with a bit of Balance to finish off the runners. If I draw aggro by accident, I switch to Bear form to survive.

I think I might pay to unlearn the Nature's Grasp points (4), and I have not purchased the 5 Furor points yet. So that's 9 points I can play around with. I really want Swiftmend, so I will be spending 31 points in Resto.

Your comments? :sumo:

This was gmort's advice i read somewhere, if you want to do some balance get yourself, natural shapeshifter so that way you wont be oom if you have to shift cuz of aggro.
I also suggest not getting the improved moonfire unless you want to pop it during the fight and not just to get stragglers. Its mana inneficient for the instant dmg and you will most likely have to pop 2 if it doesn't crit.
Same thing for the wrath, i know there are fights that dont require that much healing and that the dps is what is gonna win a fight. So if you want to spend points somewhere for a little dmg then i say do it here cuz the reduced time is awesome.
MY personal taste would lead me into ooc though, cuz when you're almost oom, you can pop into bear or cat and help out while mana regenerates. That being said, ooc is bound to proc and you just get a free tranquility or healing touch rank 10 for free all the while not interrupting mana regen.

Other than that the healing spec should suit your style and knowing how each one will help out is essential for you to get the best out of the spec.

Yeah, that iMF isn't going to do much by itself, and I personally think all 5 points in NG is overkill.

If you are just looking at throwing some dps around your healing, just take the improved wrath, and then some of the fun ones like reach, thorns, shapeshifter, etc...

Realistically, you won't be doing big balance dps in your healing gear and would be better off putting the 14 points in feral for charge.

The real question is what type of armor do you have cause cloth usualy tends to lean to intl.stam.agia with a restro i personnaly choose intl so i can keep my mana up and never go /oom specialy with the 40 spell that regens mana(forgot name lol) but keeping aggro off is pretty easy if u just dont spam nukes ie.hurricane/moonfire/wrath/entangle/tranquiltiy
