Sure enough, here's another with the same question.

My AV does not work either. I think there's a minimum post count, but this thread (http://wow.forums.thedruidsgrove.org/showthread.php?t=10865) suggests something else.

Sorry for sounding flip, I really don't know I use the Edit Avatar screen on the User CP and use one of the pre-defined ones. Beyond that my knowledge of the system is pretty limited. I'll ask around to see if anyone more knowledgeable can help out.
