hi everyone,

I am a really heavily specced resto raiding druid. (for now anyway) but i have a few questions on some of the talents.

Improved Rejuvination--- is the increased 15% of the base spell? I believe it is, but i dont think i have ever seen anytthing confirming it either way. Do people think that it is worth it?

Improved Regrowth--- the wording on this always confuses me. SOmetimes i feel that they are talking about chance to crit other times i feel like they are talking about when you crit you get an extra 50% to the crit heal. I am pretty sure the latter is correct... since i dont seem to crit 50% of the time on that spell. Also... is this worth it in the general opinion.

I wont even touch gift of nature :) cause i know many people dont like it.

Personally, and i've said this before on here--- as long as i am a healer in raids i will take any bit of +heal no matter how small... but i am wondering just of the wording of these talents. I want to make sure that i am understanding them correctly. Mostly, i like most people have started working my BC spec and of course i aim to be more of a hybrid... so im wondering what i can drop and what i still need.

any help is welcome.

thanks

well the HoT talents are going to mean more in BC than they are now because of the bonus you recieve from the 41point talent, and also the fact that only HoT's can be cast while in tree form.

As far as are those 2 specific talents worth it? It depends on how you heal your raid. Alot of people use HT almost exclusivly. For those people, these talents would be pretty useless. Me, i use rejuv almost exclusivly to heal the raid, regrowth for quick emergency heals, and reserve HT only when i need to heal a MT over a long period of time.

Hi Wicker,

1. Improved Rejuv increases the amount of the base heal by 15%. Would be nice if it counted the +heal from gear as well, but unfortunatley this isn't the case.

2. Improved Regrowth increases the up front crit chance of the heal portion, not the amount actually Healed. Remember, just because you have a 50 - 60% chance to crit doesn't mean that you will always crit one out of every two times.

3. I like Gift of Nature. But then again, I have a 0/15/36 build to maximize my healing spells, and I figured that I'd take anything that made them stronger, just like you. I am just making an inference here, but I think you were wondering if GoN also calculated off the base heal, which it does (doesn't take +heal into account).

Actually was considering a 1/11/39 build, but with BC on the horizon, I'm staying where I am and speccing heavy feral for leveling. Though I have about 6 different specs that look fun, and I have no idea what I'm gonna do...

Just a bit of semi-OT info; in the expansion, both imp. rejuv and gift of nature (and moonfury, but that's another tree) works on gear in addition to the base spell. :)
