LOL, after playing WoW for 2 months, I finally made a Tauren Druid. Looking forward to trying him out.

TDG is the best class site anywhere for MMO's. The help and info here is better than any other class site that I have been to. I love my Rogue, but I've been a member of the grove for too long. =)

Got to level 8 in about 2 hours. Quests were much easier since I had already been through them with my wife on our druid/warrior team. I can't wait to try bear form at level 10.

Heh, I played EQ for 6 years, finally quit for good last summer. Started WoW after the combo South Park episode/10 day free trial.

Decided to roll a hunter this time, but HAD to choose a Tauren, given my long-cherished EQ name :) Tried to get Tatanka as the name, of course, but it was taken, so I got Tatankaa.

Lo and behold, last week I'm running through Barrens, and who do I see? A Tauren Hunter named Tatanka.... and I'm higher level that him!!??!?!?!? I must have just missed creating the account in time to get the name :(

Ah well, it's a great game, and I'm thrilled to be playing. For those of you on here who remember me from the EQ boards, hello again!

That sucks about your name.

This doesn't really matter but I love this site for checking history and thought I would mention it :)~ Looks like perhaps the guy who has the original spelling just cant make up his mind since you saw him as a Hunter not to long ago but Census has clocked him more recently as a War.

Ah, maybe it was a warrior, don't really remember for sure now. But he was definitely a Tauren.

Not a real big deal, other than my surprise to be higher level than him, after only playing 4 weeks, and already have two alts to 20 :)

Leveling is blazing fast for me, until I hit 40, then it gets painfully slow for me.
