As a feral druid (1-44-12) i find myself playing a wide range of roles. I have been tanking now in outland for the first time really and i seem to not understand where to focus my gear selection. Since i have mostly been a DPS kitteh until recently my gear is agil sta str ap and crit rating. So what stats am i looking for then in terms of tanking gear? Can i tank while wearing dps gear without preforming poorly?

For tanking, you want 415 defense skill (or some resilience equivalent), lots of agility, loads of stamina.

Gearwise, you are going to want to collect multiple sets. You can still tank with your kitty gear but not as effective as a 'bear' set focusing on +def, stam, and AC. Being a hybrid, tanking in kitty imo is more effective than say a fury warrior tanking but to perform well (and effectively at higher end instances) you're going to want to collect some 'tanking' gear.
