I apologise if this question has been answered or is basic.

After 2.3 HotW bonus applies to AP, so if I still have Str on my armor does it apply after str is converted in ap.

Or would having direct ap on my armor give better yield for the bonus to apply.

Sorry dont have the armor to test this too:P. Spares that is or the gold to enchant and try either lol.

It works as the other HotW-bonuses work - on the final value, after buffs and all. Yes that includes the AP from str. It also includes BoK, BoM, the AP aura from Hunters, Battle Shout and all other things that increase your AP.

Actually, almost all Feral Druids should now have more AP than before the patch.

A lot more Attack Power. I went from 2850 self buffed to nearly 3200 self buffed. I was surprised.

Since then, raid buffs have a much more huge impact. I was raiding last night at 4516 AP and 47% crit (i had to take screan shots, it blew me away. they're not posted yet, but dang). This is without BT/Hyjal/S3 gear! Imagine if I were full T6 geared with the S3 mace! And if I wasn't concerned about +hit/+expertise, I could make my numbers look more insane.

The S3 weapon is a staff... :>

You are correct, it is a staff. I thought it was still a mace. I hadn't even checked S3 since my highest rated team was 1600 last season and with "Rivals" in my 1500 bracket have been brutal this season. I am not sure when/if I will see the S3 staff. I may end up getting the feral chest first, since it is a DPS upgrade all the way until T6 in PvE.

I will make 1850.

My previous best is 1806 back in season 1, but I will get past 1850 this time. The staff will be mine!!

Just cheat the system. buy a rank 1100 team and bring it back up with your normal team. 1700 should be plenty to get your ranking to over 1850 (personal).

I am not real comfortable with that. I suppose if i don't have luck with a normal team, I'll do that, but i'm also 1800 points shy, so i have a few weeks to build my team up too. lol

Never can tell. I am pretty sure I've seen/experienced a number of teams that are doing it. When one of my teams fell below 1500, the teams we were facing became harder! the lower we fell, it seemed the more Rival/Gladiator teams we faced.
