Its not linked from their front page yet, but there seems to be a new movie up.

"This movie highlights the Gryphon Ride from Stormwind to Ironforge."

*edit - Just ignore the fact that I initially mispelled the original title and can't edit it out, doh!*

*edit #2* - Although its not linked on the wow page, it *is* linked on the main blizzard page, along with a couple of transportation updates:

25 megs and worth the download. A very awesome demo movie! I can see the griffon rides getting old after a few times but the atmosphere and detail of the game world the griffon rider traveled through was pretty neat.

Interesting that they're using BitTorrent to distribute these avi's now instead of the usual FTP mirrors.

I was very impressed with the mountain keep toward the end of the movie. /drool

What is this BitTorrent program? Is it uploading stuff from my computer as I'm downloading or what?

Thanks Sobe :)

I am having problems with viewing this movie, and with .avi files in general.

When I load them in Windows player, I get audio only. When I try them in Quicktime, I get an error saying that it needs some update, but that update isn't available on the QT server.

What's another good .avi viewing option?

I got this movie, plus a few others from game sites around that I can't view in anything I've tried them in :(

Do you have the DivX codec installed? More and more, people are using that to encode their movies.

I went to the DivX site and they want to install Gator when I install the player from there so I declined. Or is there another file I need from there?

You want the standard (free) codec, not the Pro one. The link is a bit hard to find on their download page:

BitTorrent seems to have reached a critical mass. It is spreading like wildfire. This is the 3rd thing I've downloaded not even realizing it with BitTorrent this week!
