Like most, I am very much looking forward to battlegrounds and the mass pvp experience. As I built my talent tree, it became apparent that I would be "wasting" 5 points in subtley in the pvp environment, while I don't really want to live without it when I'm main healing (which I almost always do).
But as I have been getting more experience pvping in various areas, it has become clear that NPC's are often involved in the conflict. One side (usually horde, but whichever currently is losing) will use their guards and you will find yourself fighting mobs during the battle.
With battlegrounds, this will only be magnified with the various NPC's they have described in each area of the battlefield. I guess this may have seemed obvious to some, but for me, it has allowed me to justify spending the points in subtley without feeling like it will hurt me in pvp. Not having those 1 or 2 (or 10) guards chasing you after one heal to a group member is huge. I would have spent the points regardless, but it is encouraging to know the points won't be wasted, even in pvp combat.
