Has anyone ever successfully used one of these?

I have a libram of tenacity and a libram of resilience, I was going to add tenacity and sell resilience... but now I think constitution is much more useful.

100hp vs 120AC. HP = useful vs everyone, AC = useful vs hunter, rogue, warrior, druid only.

Regardless, the problem is the reagants you need to use the damn thing.

For tenacity:

1. 3 crystal things from ungoro (easy to get).
2. Black diamond (BoP 1% drop off of mobs in BRD!!)
3. Eye of kiljun or whatever (33% drop from dark iron vault, which requires 12 keys to open, also BOP).
4. 30-50g (cant remember how much exactly)

So I would have to farm BRD for ages, crossing my fingers for the black diamond drop to come to me even if it does drop. Of course everyone would probably roll oni t like dumbasses. And then I have to have a group with 12 keys for the vault, and then its 1/3 chance for the eye to be inside, and then I have to basically ninja it since its BoP.

No wonder so few people even have librams added to their helms.

And why on earth would you go to the extent of getting it on your legs - way too much work when you could get 40ac for 1g and just call it a day!

Black Diamond is actually fairly common I want to say I've seen at least one drop from every full run through BRD I've been on. They seem to drop most frequently beyond the bar area on way to Emp.

Yeah, I think I have 4 black diamonds sitting in the bank. Not that rare. For me its libram's that are rare. ;)

I have a Libram of Rumination sitting in the bank that I intend to apply to my head item someday. 150 mana is pretty nifty. Still need the item from the dark coffer in BRD though.

Black diamonds did seem pretty common, though. I've seen maybe 8-10 drop now, as opposed to only 3 librams (2 of which I got soloing).

Maybe I jsut need to buckle down and sit through some BRD runs then if the drop rate isn't that bad. 1% drop rate doesn't sound too fun at first tho. The coffer thing is just annoying bc you need so many of those damn keys to do it.

If you do the jail area you will easily get enough keys to do the vault. It's when you go through the back door and "skip" content that you run short. And yeah it's a painfully long instance when you do the whole thing, but since I believe you are a NE there's tons of folks that need to do BRD jail for Ony key. Do a few jail runs for that and stock up on keys then do some back door runs for the rest.

Found out this weekend that black diamonds are not BoP, thus they are super super easy to get.

The only thing remotely hard is the eye of kiljun, and I had it drop on my first BRD run this weekend. Thott says its 33% chance to be in the dark coffer, so it shouldn't take that many runs to get it usually.

im looking to do the resilience enchant for +20 enchant to my Helm Of Fire. I have the libram/diamond/30g but now have questions about the Crystal Spire needed. Thottbot.com shows that u can turn in blue power diamonds and green ones to get a Crystal Spire as the quest reward. I can't find the NPC that does so let alone have no made an attempt to find the NPC that will do the enchant.

Does the libram of tenacity get factored into the bear form bonus? or is it added after bear form bonus to armor is done like armor kits? Anyone know?

My understanding is that enchants and armor patchs do not factor into bear form AC, this may no longer be correct however.

As for librams as a raiding restoration druid I currently have mana libram enchants on my normal legs/helmand am working on FR librams for my alternative legs/helms. Dreading the day I'm told to get resilance librams for other resists =)

From a thread on Thottbot -

"Here are all the different librams you can collect remember you can only have 1 book of the same type at once. Once you convert the book in the quest you can(theoretically) carry the same arcanum with you. The two letter abbreviations are BS and DM are for where the quest turn in is for that libram. BS = Burning Steppes DM = Dire Maul

What each of the arcanum do:
Rumination - BS - 150 mana
Constitution - BS - 100 hp
Tenacity - BS - 125 armor
Resilience - BS - +20 fire resistance
Voracity - BS - +8 str/agi/sta/int/spi (only 1 stat of the 5)
Rapidity - DM - +1% haste to attacks (ranged/melee)
Focus - DM - +8 healing and damage from spells
Protection - DM - +1% to dodge "
