I am just wondering if when you put Thorns on yourself and a mob hits you but you do not hit back does having Thorns on cause hate ?
I went to put Thorns on guildmate other night for Baron and she got upset.

Yeah thorns increase agro. Only put it on the tanks it helps then keep agression. When you put it on a caster it will just increase the agression they are building from spells and heals.

Just an FYI, if you right click on a beneficial buff, it will remove it immediately. So you can put thorns on everyone when agro isn't a huge deal and they can remove it for the big fights. And then no one can get mad at you for putting it on them.
