...the battle kitty looks like... #()$*#)($*.

I'm currently on turn in #10 of like 12000 for the Winterspring Frostsaber. I'm sure I'll probably end up going insane or just buying the battle cat.

Bah, wish I had the gold to buy the pure white kitty when it was available. :(

Yeah, I'm with you Storm. I actually stopped saving up for my epic mount when I saw the new graphics. I'd rather ride my white w/ black stripes cat than the level 60 ones. Guess if I really want one, I will go down your path. But the ridiculous amount of factioning for that reminds me of EQ too much, not sure I want to drive myself insane in WoW too.

Ciwt - the "original" night elf epic kitty was either pure black or pure white - they went away when the "improved" battle cat went in. The Winterspring Frostsaber is this offshoot "addtional epic" mount that's available if you get your faction up from 4.0 neutral to either honored or exaulted (I've read posts saying either) - the quests to get faction are repeatable but only worth 0.013 points each completion. I think I remembered reading that the total number of quest turn-ins is around a few thousand.

Ahhh sorry to hear of your problems, Stormhaven. The grass is always greener....
If you get a battle kitty I just know you're gonna kick yourself later for not getting a kodo.

eh? really? this is all new to me. Course, I hadn't logged in for a couple months. Is this a retro change? Wonder if my epic mount has changed....I bought a bit ago, before all the changes and addition of the honor stuff.

*Edit; Ha, you're right. I do prefer the old style. Good thing this change isn't retro, they actually give you a quest to replace your old Nightsabers for the new style.

Personally, I'm all for the old style!
