I've been using Nature's Swiftness as my panic button for big heals but I've been wondering about using it with Rebirth? I'd like to be able to combine NS with Rebirth to get an instant combat res at times of need. Anyone know if this would work?

I've tried it every time, never has it seemed to work instantly. On 5 man instances, with no lock, we use rebirth as a SS type item where I'll cast it on the pally or priest when they go down, hopefully before I go down, they hold till clear, rez and we move on. I can't say how many times we've done this and I've just never seen it work with NS :| I still try though thinking maybe I"m just stressed and missing the button :)

I've had same experience. The handful of times I tried to do it, no go. I suspect Blizz views 2 seconds as short enough (it was reduced from 3 sec around patch 1.4).

Rebirth is a 2 second cast. There is no point IMO.
