I im new here but i got some questions.


Catform :
I got Catform, when i transform i want to attack i need energy for special attacks but where do i get energy i dont understand that. Finishing Move/Combos i got one and i tried to use taht but dont know how....
How to get a combo and how to use finishing move ?!?!

You get energy over time while in cat form; there isn't anything you need to do for it.

Combos/finishers -

Cat form works like rogues, which means you build up combo points with opening moves. Combo points show up as a ring around the portrait on the target window. As you use more opening moves, you'll build up more combo points, to a maximum of 5. Once you have at least one combo point, you can use a finishing move. Finishing moves tend to do more damage or have greater effect with more combo points. Using a finishing move will clear out all your combo points.

How long does it take to build up energy ?

Energy generation is the same as rogues - you gain 20 energy points every tick (~ 2-3 seconds) while in cat form. There is a talent (currently in the Restoration Tree) called Intensity which gives you a 20-100 pct chance to have X energy the instant you shapeshift into cat form.

While rogues can use a drink called Thistle Tea to immediately gain 100 energy, this is not useable by druids (we can't use items in cat/bear forms).

Note: it is possible to shapeshift "between" server ticks, giving yourself 20 energy pretty much immediately upon shifting into cat form. You will notice the same thing about timing your first attack from stealth. There may be some UI mods available to display server ticks, but I've never looked for one.

i hardly find combo points of any use when you are below level 30 or so, because you or your group simply kills the mobs too quickly. A little later when the mobs' hitpoints make the fights last longer, then combo points are fun and worthwhile exploiting.
