I was wondering if there was any benefit of being exalted with like the NE or Stormwind besides being able to ride their mount? because im a NE druid right now and i think im gonna go and quest in the human area but dont want to miss something from being exalted.

You won't get exalted, no matter where you quest!

The only real way to get exalted I think is to spend unbelievable amounts of money buying runecloth and turning it in for faction. Certainly faster than the morrowgrain thing.

Quest anywhere you want. Otherwise you will miss out on a lot more content.

Runecloth? There's actually turn-ins for those? I hadn't seen any. The only ones I found were the donations which take only 60 Wool, Mageweave and Runecloth, no more.

Where can you get Honored for the horde?

Not necessarily true, if you are a night elf. I am a little under 300 faction away from being exalted in Darnassus, and haven't really done anything special to get that far, other than the Un'goro soil quests as often as I got the soil. I figure I will do the cloth quests just to get it out of the way, but I'm sure I could hunt around for a few quests I missed to get the 300 I need.

After you turn in the 60 of each one, you get a repeatable quest for 20 runecloths, gives your 50 faction per stack

I never understood the point of those ytwhatever sites. Junky tiled images, junky sound I can't and don't want to listen to...

However, that photo is funny.

I'm not almost exhalted to Darnassus, I'm almost revered :(

lol, its okay. I made that mistake too with Orgrimmar. Tauren can ride wolf mounts in the next patch so I'm working on cranking up my rep with them but its still like 800 away from revered. Thats ALOT of runecloth. (think someone said like 350+ stacks)

If you search Blue posts in wow general forum, you'd find that it's currently bugged and won't be fixed for 1.7 release. Couple people posted on test it didn't work, and the bug was confirmed. Long story short - you can't train Wolf Riding, which you need to ride the Org wolf.

So its revered for being able to rider others mounts? Damn, I never bothered to get faction up coz I thought it was Exhalted which to me seemed absolutely impossible.

No, its exalted you need to ride others mounts, not revered. It is quite possible to get revered by just normal questing as you level, with some factions. You CANNOT get exalted without a LOT of trouble. Hardly worth it just so you can ride a different mount, but I suppose, what else do you have to do when your 60?

It was 420 stacks of runecloth exactly for my Dwarf to get from beginning of revered to beginning of exalted with gnomeregan.

I now have my own epic mechanical chicken. ;)
