I can't believe how much I am owning druids and hunters. Every time we do a push the alliance druids go into bear form and get hibernated. That means our team doesn't get moonfired, and I can just prowl the flag. All I need is a priest to shield me and give me a couple flash heals.
But, nobody else seems to use hibernate vs our horde druids.
Do you guys see this a lot?

I see Hibernate used... sometimes not so well. My favorite is the druid who'll moonfire then try and hibernate me... yea'
I've never seen a Shaman Hibernated... I'd love to be an alliance druid just to get a shot at it.

It's fun. I love catching Shammy's in Travel Form. Hibernate and stand there with em rubbing salt on the wound.

Our shammy's NEVER get hibernated. Idiots. The alliance druids I fight just run into bear form and try to stun the healers.

Gotta love hibernating a druid running away in travel form.. a nice strategy if you have a rogue with you on your team is to hibernate the Druid who's carrying the flag and let the rogue catch up and further stun him.

The alliance in WSG have no coordination.

/agree. . .the only thing the alliance on my server have going is sticking a lock on their flag.

Hybernate is the **** for Hunter Pets. Nerf hunter pets!
I dont use my druid for PvP anymore though. Warlocks ftw!!

do you find that druids claw your face in pvp?

Actually as of 1.8 almost every druid i've seen in BG's is Feral. I dont blame them a bit. It brings a new light to the game as a druid. Most of the time I get ambushed from behind though. They definitely jacked up cat form DPS. Death Coil FTW!
As for my Druid, if I wasnt in a raiding guild, I would probably go feral. Although I feel feral druids are gimped unless you obtain a ton of PvP rewards. Most Druid PvE equipment is geared for Restoration. How many pieces of Epic druid gear do you see with Str/Agi/AttackPower?

Yeah, the only set I see is the Lieutenant Commander's Sanctuary (http://www.thottbot.com/?set=381#) pvp set which seems to be targeted for feral druids, and now that they expanded the number of people able to rank up, should be attainable to most people who like to pvp. At least the first four items, which give you the 15% feral bonus to speed.

Anyone else hate using bear in WSG?
And hunters? Every time they find out who's spamming hibernate and soothe animal(?) on their pets, they all grief me!

Your correct there, often when we're in BG everyone does their own thing, you also find it's a real TASK to get alliance to group up, your having to shout "Group me" or "Msg so and so for a group" - it's pathetic and half the reason we loose, the other half is you have 2 traveling classes that and the fact shaman just owns everything :p which is why i'm re-rolling a tauren druid! Moooooooooooo

Hunters pet's are the worst though, they chase you for blummin ages and run ridiculously fast - i remember being in AB, crossing the lake in aquatic form, with a hunters pet after me, i crossed the lake, still after me yet i can't even SEE the hunter, chases me all the way down to the farm, no hunter to be seen, it finally dissapears after causing tons of damage, did i forget to mention it was able to keep up with 40% travel form ..... nerf pet speed

NS Regrowth + rejuv, try to spam a few hibernates.
Some times it breaks, but sometimes your lucky. AND DON'T FOR GET NG!

Can't you also use NS on the hibernate?
11-08-2005, 08:01 PM
yup, NS works well on roots and hibernate when the enemy is running past you or nearly out of range
