I've seen a lot of people talk about +(insert ability here) type of gear. I throughly enjoy playing a Caster Druid and I was wondering how many people use equipment that gives them +nature damage and or +arcane damage? A.t.m. I'm at work but off the top of my head I have:

+19 nature dmg staff
+11 arcane dmg cloak
+9 nature dmg belt
+21 arcane damage hat
+14 nature dmg chest
+11 arcane dmg shoulder
+11 arcane dmg wrist

therefore: +42dmg nature & 54dmg arcane

Only my gloves, boots and rings give me +int & +spirit. The only time I use any feral form is when I want to keep grinding and recoup my mana.

NOTE: All of my gear is leather and maxed (protection wise) out at my level (lvl 30).

Looking forward to reading comments.
Oh and my build (eventually) will be Resto 21, Balance 30. I would really like Moonkin but NS is just appealing to ignore. I can post my build if anyone wants to see.

Cheers

As balance +specific damage is probably fine, in the end though you'll most likely find that the more generic +dmg & healing will be your best bet (cenarion vs stormrage) +specific damage is rarer in leather than +generic. In addition you want to make sure that you don't skimp on stats for dmg.

For the most part +stats is always greater than +anything else. +damage is worthless if you don't have the int to continue casting the spells.

I agree w/ Ndainye for the most part. As a Druid I would not give up stats for +arcane/nature damage. Although I am a believer in +healing gear. I will say though, that most of the +healing druid gear you find at 60 will have good stats on it, and most of it will be a +healing/damage combination. DM is a great place to find this and eventually MC and BWL.

While leveling up, i reccomend good spirit/intellect gear, even if that means wearing cloth. As a druid, i wouldnt bother too much wearing +arcane/nature gear as there is not much out there and druids are not mage's by any means.
