Hi, as some of you may have read in a former post I have recently deleted my beloved lv 55 tauren druid from the Khadgar server. He was purely feral spec and I had finally come to the realization that I would never gain acceptance on that server playing him that way so I decided rather than conforming to just say goodbye. I really miss playing a druid though and would like to start anew on my new home server of Skywall.

The reason I have come here today is because after getting a character to lv 55 I learned the importance of having a good, supportive guild when you reach the end game. And so I come to you now, fellow druids in hopes that you can guide me to a guild that is just that, supportive. Supportive of one who wants to play a purely feral druid and not be the stereotypical "healer druid". I want to be your tank and your dps. I have played the role of the healer before and though it is a role I do not enjoy playing, I dont mind helping out on occasion. I dont however want to reach the end game and be told I can only come with you if I want to stand back and heal. I dont want to get to the end game when everyone else is trying to get their epic sets together and be told I cant roll on anything that could remotely be considered "Rogue" gear because I should be rolling on Wildheart or the like instead. I just want a fair chance to play this class my way, the way I enjoy it.

I know there are feral druids like myself out there and I'm hoping to meet you and perhaps find myself in one of your guilds in the future. If any of you have suggestions on where I might find what I'm looking for I currently have a 43 warrior (horde) named Sleekflank that you can PST in game or I will check back here for your response. Thank you so much for your help in advance, I look forward to hearing from you!

Can't help you much Primerib your on a different server. All I can say is to keep your chin up and don't let your former guild get you down. I won't call them poor raid leaders, but honestly, your raid leader has to be pretty in the dark to think you are only needed there for healing. As a Feral Spec Druid the raid leader in my guild allows me to DPS so long as I support the Priest during healing when they need it and request it.

Hopefully you can find a guild with a raid leader as understanding as mine. Hehe I guess it helps that our raid leader is a Druid himself so he understands perfectly how we can function in other ways during the raid.

Im also on a different server so I cant help you there. Just stick to your guns, play the way you want , and you will find informed people out there that will accept you.
A warrior from another guild ,that my guild raids with, was in our vent yesterday talking **** about Feral Druids. He said that any druid that is spec'ed Feral should have their head shot off. I basically told him that I was Feral, and I didnt give a rats ass what his opinion was, and the he can feel free to STFU.
He then wanted to duel me to prove that he was superior. I told him that, in my opinion, dueling was a waste of time however he could go out front of IF and stoke his e-peen by himself if it made him feel better.
Dueling is not pvp. Thats why I am a Lt. commander and you are a Sergeant is what I also told him.
anyways, hate to ramble on, but ya, dont take that crap because there are good people out there.

I just wanted to thank you all for your support. I have been talking to people from a couple of the good sized guilds on Skywall and have been getting some positive answers. So right now I'm hopeful about starting again. We'll see how things go though. Thx again for your support!
