I personally cannot commit myself to a large block of time. I rarely can play for more than 3 hours straight. Plus, I enjoy PvP so I'm spec'ing feral and don't wish to go restoration that the large raid-groups usually demand. So upon hitting lvl 60, the only way I'll be getting my end-game gear is through PvP and BG Faction rewards plus an occasional 5-man instance run (e.g. Strat, DM, etc.) With what I'm planning, would it be possible to have decent gear, mainly for PvP without ever having set foot in MC, UBRS, ZG, etc.? I have plenty of time to play, just not a huge block of time at once.

the druid pvp set is the most "feral friendly" of the big druid sets, like cenarion and stormrage. But to get to the epic stuff you have to PvP lots.. and i mean LOTS! :/

But theres always the AV epic items that are relatively easy to get.. both the ring and the mace are good feral stuff.. extremely mainstream though.. but good. :)

None of this requires farming Honor in PVP. Its either faction which takes time but can be attained by anyone, low end lvl 60 raids (3-5 hours tops) or craftable. The hardest things to get would probably be the AV rewards since its tough to get in (my server runs maybe one weekend a month). But all this you could get with some patience and mostly just grinding either rep or gold

Couple things - my guild runs MC on 2 seperate days. First day is Lucifon to Garr (though sometimes we do Geddon/Shazz as well). This typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours. Finishing the remainder including Rag is usually done in 3 hours or less. ZG - we clear everything in zone except spawnables and Jin'Do in about 4 hours. Having people come/go is fairly commonplace - especially because we usually run ZG on week nights, and start late to accomodate west coasters.

That said, neither zone has excellent Feral Gear for druids. There are some good items to be sure, but most of them are going to go to a rogue before a druid.

UBRS - why would you skip that? Takes 90 minutes or less for a competent full run. 2 maybe 2.5 for a slow moving pubbie group. Plus - doing the Ony key quest for Horde gets you Blackhand's trinket (didn't notice your faction).

Now, if you're limited to playing say 20 hours a week - forget about the high generic PvP rewards. You can probably achieve Rank 8 - maybe 10, in a number of months. You'll never see ranks 13 or 14 under the current honor system implementation. More than 1 High Warlord / Grand Marshall literally has several people playing their account to farm the honor necessary to reach that rank. Earning rep with AB/WSG/AV is more viable, but if you're on the majority side on a server with a population imbalance, waiting 1 hour to do 1 AB is not unheard of. I've personally never been inside AV more than 4 times because of the lengthy queue times. 2-4 hours to get in, then another 2-4 to win the battle. With only 1-3 hours to play at a time, AB is probably where you should focus.
