Hi all. I'm new to this game and just wanted to say that this is a really good site, that has alot of useful information and I was hoping that maybe someone could answer a few questions for me. Currently i have a level 33 druid that has all of her point's spent into feral skills. I am on a PVP server and I do enjoy both PVE and PVP combat. From what I have seen it seem's the most popular setup is a 0/31/20 build. What is this build and why is it so popular. What is a must have skill, and what should I avoid.

I am not the expert but I believe that the popular build is a 30/21 not a 31/20.

A 30/21 allows a person to have many of the great feral talents (especially Heart of the Wild) while also having Nature's Swiftness in the restoration tree.

Heart of the wild give you an extra 20% mana while in caster form giving you a bigger mana pool so that you can heal when needed. The feral side give you more dps.

Basically it allows one to be a fairly good healer while useful in feral forms instead of just one or the other which builds on the druid's most valuable aspect, versatility.

Feline Swiftness is the best druid talent in the 30-40 range.

An 0/30/21 can work a few ways. In the feral tree you can either focus on the bear or cat talents. Both, or a mix, can work for PvP.

For PvE I'd recommend a cat focus in feral. This will let all your talents be useful in a group. You can dps in cat and quickly shift into caster if you need to support heal. If you decide to take bear talents you will be expecting to tank. If you're tanking you cannot 'change gears' like you an with cat as something will be beating on you.

If you want to focus on bear form in PvE I'd recommend taking the Natural Weapons talent from the balance tree. There's alot of tank competition and you'll need everything you can get to justify yourself. That'll put your spec at 10/31/5 with 5 points to spare. I think I'm forgetting thick hide...
