With all the mixed feelings about the AA skills relevant to other classes (no surprise, can't please everyone even a little bit of the time), I wanted to bounce one idea off you all.

What do you all think about being able to pay some of your AA points for the ability to summon a stronger pet? How about three levels of this AA skill that progressively increase Booboo's hitpoints, AC, offense, etc. He's never going to be a real dps freak like Necro/Mage pets, but to me, this seems like something that, if done right, can add value without becoming unbalancing. Just curious.

Cheers.

I think it would be better done as a new spell.

I summon Booboo fairly often. If we;re just setting up it's basically a free DoT if there are no charmable animals around. But to be fair it's kind of a level 40ish DoT. Not very useful at all.

I would LOVE to have a higher level pet. It doesn't have to actually be USEFUL like a mage/nec/bst pet, but still not USELESS. Maybe 50% stonger than our current pet, with the new /share (?) ability to suck up some of our own damage, and easily slaughter mobs that are green to lvl 50.

The key is to NOT lose any cuteness!!!

Thanx,

Littlun.

If they give druids a more powerful pet, it should be something more in-line with cleric or wizard summoned pets. If not, we'd have never-ending complaints from magicians. Actually, wouldnt it be cool if they gave us a kamikazae explodable Boo-boo AA skill similar to Frenzy Burnout except it actually works?? When used, it turns Boo-boo into super-bear comparable to wizy/cleric hammer, but at the end of the fight poor Boo-boo goes Boom and bear parts fly everywhere :) . If exploding is too violent, they could have Boo-boo go hibernate and poof - Jobiner enters a rabid burnout, Jobiner decides to go hibernate.
