Re: Freelance Open Raid Team - Cazic Thule Server

Grats on the further progress!

I wound up burning out on EQ again (LOL, like the 6th or 7th time since 2000!), and have moved on to EQ2. I have really been enjoying that game, but who knows, I'll probably be back at some point to EQ.

Anyway, keep up the good work :)

Re: Shawl Quest(s)

Right after my posting here on 2/26, I posted the question on ZAM's EQ forum. Yther (who is very reliable) posted back that these zones are NOT automatically unlocked. You still have to do the progression quests to access them. Tat PS - sorry, it was hexeez. Still very reliable: http://everquest.all...

Grats to you guys! I hope I can find something similar on Tunare once I max out my levels.

Re: Relevent quests in 2013

I just finished the Bayle's Heraldic Crest aug on my crew Sunday. It's from 22 quests in OGH/OGV. It's one of the best shield augs in the game until much higher levels.

A good perusal of Rasper's and/or EQResource will turn up lots of interesting quests/quest chains to check out.

Re: Shawl Quest(s)

Just so you know, you can't get the quest(s) to work on the 2.0 until you have access to Brell's Temple, which is Underfoot tier 3. So there are a bunch of progression quests in UF that have to be done first. Unless they changed it, and Brell's Temple is accessible by everyone now. If that's the cas...

Re: Epic Quest

I have the 1.0, but got it when 60 was max level, so it was somewhat useful. Now it's strictly a museum piece. I've looked at the 2.0 stats and foci, and frankly, I'm surprised any guild makes it a requirement. I thought everyone considered it obsolete at current end-game levels (90+). OK, looked it...

Re: My AA purchase order

I hit 86 a year and a half ago with 773 AAs. I just started leveling to 87 a few days ago, with ~2100 AAs, so I finally got caught up with all the AAs that are really useful. That's really my benchmark now, not how easy it is to get more AA's at my current level, but are there any AA's to get that w...

Re: I'm home!!!!

Unfortunately, my experience with mercs in the mid-70s (where I was when they came out) was much as you describe. I can only assume it's even a bit worse in the 60s. However, I did find a "work-around" but unfortunately, you have to be in the 70s to use it. First, your alternatives, and th...

If we work on this together, I'm sure we could knock it out pretty easy. Let me know if you want to team up :)

Re: Armor upgrade at lvl 80

Here's what my research had found: The Glowing Reis you speak of (I have three pieces) are special drops from modified zones that appear at EQ anniversary time. So you can't always get them. They are quite nice, tho. For normally available gear, Defiant is the way to go to 80. At 80, tradable, attun...
