Percentage wise rich people are paying less in taxes than the people mopping the floors of their businesses. That's a paraphrased quote from Warren Buffet, who thinks rich people should be taxed more they presently are.

Re: Military Expenditures
Is that actual expenses to the Medicare system, or based on what you'd pay if you bought those services without any sort of insurance. Medicare negotiates hard to get cheaper services. Re: Military Expenditures

Military Expenditures
I had to do a double-take. At first I looked at it going... wait, where's the US? Then I realized that enormous block on the left WAS the US.

Re: Dining by politics
It sort of makes one think that political alignment might have more to do with personality traits than any sort of really well-considered philosophy.

Running with scissors
I had to giggle. It's been a little amusing watching Republicans self-immolate with their proposed budget and fooking with medicare. I think this cartoon sums it up. http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/MSNBC/Components/Slideshows/_production/_archive/Cartoons/ss-110526-weekly/ss-110526-weekly-17.ss_full.jpg...
