The idiots we elect...
They read the constitution out-loud to Congress... Rep. Frank Pallone, D-N.J., read the section of the Constitution that set out the eligibility requirements for the presidency. As Pallone read the words "No person, except a natural-born citizen, or a citizen of the United States ..." a wo...

Re: On the roads in Libertarian Land
How do you afford to build all those prisons without extremely high taxes? We're already way overcrowded on prisons with the 3-strikes law in CA. So much so we have to let them out.
That sounds like an awful lot of rules and regulations for a libertarian. Are you sure you are one?

So not having to be licensed to drive is not the issue in India?

Re: If you had a measly $10 billion dollars
A pointless question, since if you really had 1/5 of Bill Gates's fortune it wouldn't be in cash and you couldn't invest it in that manner anyway. On the roads in Libertarian Land
Okay, calling India Libertarian Land is probably stretching it a bit, but when you can have completely circumvent regulations through bribery it seems like you end up with what a lot of Libertarian's would consider a good thing. Driving in India: Cars, Corruption, Collisions Having illegally obtaine...

If you had a measly $10 billion dollars
If you had 1/5th of Bill Gates fortune, about $10 billion dollars, and you invested it at 4% interest. How much money could you spend everyday without touching a penny of your principal for eternity?

b) $10,000 a day
c) $100,000 a day
