That was painful. I couldn't watch the whole thing.

Give him a little credit, at least he believes in gravity.

Many Christians would just say "god" controls the tides.

I second your comment (although I watched the whole video regretfully). It does make it easier to understand "the other side" when they have people like this "talk" like this.

He did say that. Or implied it.

What creates the tides? The moon. What created the moon? God.

Saying "god" made the moon that caused the tides is a lot better than saying that "god" causes the tides today by waving his hands.

The further you push "god" down the chain of causation, the better.

Eventually, you push him so far down that you become a so-called Deist, like some of America's founding fathers. A Deist is for all practical purposes the same as an atheist.

It would be so nice to have an atheist president again. It has been so long.

The Greeks said that Apollo dragged the Sun around the Earth behind his divine chariot.

Is that any more absurd than a talking snake.
Virgin birth.
Or rising from the dead, three days later. Zombie Christ, yeah.

I kinda like the Numbers 31 god though. I want a bunch of virgin sex slaves. I would be fine with 2 virgin sex slaves, and 2 virgin house slaves though.
I'm not greedy. As long as I can fuck the house slaves for variety.

Really? You would want to turn over half the spoils of the battle you fought to people who sat around doing nothing, plus an added tax to priests?

I said I wasn't greedy.

2 sex slaves. 2 house slaves. I would be content.
