Although he is really only a comedian, a comic, if you will.
He is much more; he forces change of opinions in a newsworthy way.

But the real question is the response from the Liberal Non-Fox media.
They are ALL quiet on it.

Is it ok with Liberals to call Conservative women twats?
But not ok if they are Liberal?

If a Wally George had called Michelle Obama a twat on HBO, would the Liberal Media ignore it?

You mean just like the way the ultra-conservative media is silent when one of theirs insults a liberal?

He's a comedian, and she is a dumb twat. I think even many "Republicans" would concur.

I think most Republicans would concur that Pelosi, Feinstein, and Boxer are twats too, moreso.

But would never get the leeway from the Liberal Media that Mayer gets for stating so.

That's the point I was making.

And I do think that Mayer is more than just a comedian. At the very least, he's the Lefts Glenn Beck.

Well obviously, opponents are going to feign outrage as usual -- e.g., Fox News bashing Maher -- but you were asking why supporters aren't outraged.

It's because they're supporters.

Personally I could do without all the fake politically scripted outrage, it's a waste of bandwidth.

Beck is a lunatic and megalomaniac. Even if you disagree with Maher's views, is still sane and rational.
