Last week a fire in a radiotower in the Netherlands caused it to collapse.
A short film of it can be found on the internet when you look for 'radio tower collapse hoogersmilde'
Interesting thing is that the tower initially collapsed in much the same way the twin towers did. Once the fire weakend the steel support structure enough the top half fell down almost perfectly vertically.
The second half of the steel tower fell sideways because that was still held by suspension beams until the falling top half cut through one or two for those and the whole thing became unstable and was pulled sideways by the remaining cables.
