Subject line says it all. Up until a couple days ago I had no trouble using Lucy (lucy.allahkazam.com) to look up a spell. Then suddenly the site stopped loading; it would only give the no-cookie message. I've tried everything, from resetting cookies, to deleting temp internet files, etc.. even temporarily enabled ALL cookies just to see if that would work. It didn't.

BTW, I'm using IE 6.0, and have no plans to change browsers just for one website ... so thanks (but no thanks) in advance to those who would only see this post as an opportunity to evangelize their choice of browser apps.. Just wondering what Lucy's problem is, and how I can get around it. ;)

Thanks!

I know its probably dumb to ask... but did you try refresh? I've had that problem before too and once I enabled lucy.allakhazam.com to use coookies on my system and went back to the site I still got the "No cookies" message; when I refreshed from there though the site loaded up fine.

Yeah... tried refreshing page, closing/reopening browser, even rebooted. Lucy won't cooperate. :\

When I try visiting that link, it sends me to a domain name placeholder page with sponsered ads on it from certain sites involved in breaking EQ's EULA.

Lucy has been working just fine for me...

I've gotten that problem before.
One of the things I found to do was to put the Lucy address in only as lucy.allakhazam.com
If you use the link, you get some additions past the .com address that will send a request for cookies, etc. but if I delete all the xtra crap that is added, I can usually access Lucy with no problems.

I have Windows 2000 and IE 6.02800.1106 and I can get to lucy.
Have you tried to add the website under Tools, Internet Options, Privacy tab, Edit?
Also, do you have any separate privacy or anti stealthware software or toolbar that might be doing this?

That had been what I was hoping to avoid, but Lucy seems innocuous enough to allow it, at least for the time being. Only wish I knew what changed to trigger the problem, since I'm sure I didn't change any browser settings.

Oh well, for now it will be a mystery. I'll have to keep a closer eye on Lucy's use of cookies. )
