I am sorry....but PLEASE.....will folks level 62 to 66, whom I found tonight at the Spires in South Karana, please stop killing the Gnolls. I was trying to level up my level 20 Mage alt, and these 3 players were killing all the Gnolls.
I mean, how pathetic......why didnt they just step inside Splitpaw and camp mobs meant for them. SOE took the dungeon away from mid levels.....now these high level folks are killing level 18 Gnolls?
Geeez.....I was trying to get experience and they just ingored my tells.
Why would lvl 62 to 66 players act like that?
With so many zones for that level....you have to steal Gnolls from a level 20?
Give me a break.......I guess many folks are too chicken to hunt in level appropriate zones.
Are the Gnolls at the Spires something more special now....the Gnoll level stayed the same.

Blame Sony for making high level players kill low level creatures endlessly to spawn an ultra rare creature. The players are only behaving as the game encourages them to do.

I'm level 70, so I guess it's ok for me to go kill those gnolls! brb!

Quillmane is needed for the magician 1.0 epic; however, unless this has changed in the last three years, he is spawned by killing all the roaming mobs in in south karana. The static spawns were not thought to be PH for Quillmane.

Well, killing the Tesch Mas gnolls or whatever is stupid, but the Escaped Splitpaw Refugees are cycle phs that need to die for Quillmane to (maybe) spawn.

In that case; someone probly found a higher end oow item/quest dropping off of those gnolls; sort of like when one of the later stages of the Aid Grimel earing was dropping in Fronteir mountains.

Or like when sharks in freeport were dropping a million pp or so.
