Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, looks like they're finally making changes to our effect: Epic Changes (http://eqforums.station.sony.com/eq/board/message?board.id=testing&message.id=4935&no_redir=true)

1) The click effect will be a 6/3 minute recast for the 1.5/2.0. The duration will be changed from 1 minute to 30 seconds, and the spell hit limit will be increased to 20. 30% mod for the 1.5 and 50% mod for the 2.0. Resist adjustment on proc will be set to -300 chromatic

2) No changes to the focus effect.

Not all druids are primarily healers. I really enjoy the DPS side of things more than healing. There's a lot of versatility to the class and a lot of ways to play a druid well.

In any case - here's what I posted in regards to their changes:

Not all druids are primarily healers. I like doing DPS. So I would like damage increasers.

I'm not sure why we have to keep having a limit to the number of hits that our clicky works on. During an average raid, if I use the clicky on a target mob, the effect lasts ~ 3 seconds or less. It might be a good idea to not have it work on weapon / pet procs (minimum damage 1000 or something, as mentioned) or just take off the maximum hits thing entirely.

I like that you increased the damage on the click from 5% to 30%, because the old epic 1.0 did 550 damage per minute for 3 minutes (1650 damage) and Blade of the Tempest did 750 damage per minute for 2 minutes(1500 damage) and our epic 1.5 has been doing, on average, 2.5% increase to nukes for 10 hits. Even on a good day, if I'm the only one casting and I get off 10 Winter's Frost's for 1550 a pop, that's 387.5 extra total damage. It's a lot less on a raid when the thing is working on every melee proc. So it was SERIOUSLY underpowered. Even still, with the new effect, the max hits should probably go. Especially if you are shortening the duration to 30 seconds. (Which I don't mind, since it lasts less than 1 / 10th that now anyway)

Like many people have said, the aggro reducers seem to be completely useless. 4% less aggro? Woo! Spell Casting Subtelty 3 does a lot more. I can't even tell any difference. ~ But! ~ If the mod were upped a lot, it would kind of suck to have to bag your epic every time you wanted aggro. (kiting) So I would like to see a different focus altogether. You probably haven't heard druids complain about the focus effect much (at all) because the click effect was so poor, so broken, so underpowered, that that's all they could focus on. But, like the clerics, shamans, and necro's have pointed out, it was still kind of lame.

In fact, you could probably switch the purposes of the two effects and druids would be pretty happy. I wouldn't mind having a focus effect that stacked with other imp. damage and just gave ME an extra 5% damage on all spell types (or replaced other focus effects because it was a large % mod, if the stacking isn't possible) and having an epic-clicky jolt or something.

OR - You could give the evocation (dps) druids their focus effect of improved spell damage. Alteration (healing) druids won't mind since the aggro reducer doesn't do anything anyway. Then give the druids that want the beneficial clicky their effect as well, and everyone's happy.
Anyway - to summarize:

Good:
- increased from 5% to 30% damage
- made effect harder to resist (-300 chromatic)
- made it last longer on raids (20 hits instead of 10)
- reduced recast timer

Bad:
- still only works on 20 hits, just make it 30 seconds
- still does work on procs and crap (takes up those precious 20 hits)
- focus effect still doesn't do jack

I just had a new idea, too. What if the focus effect I proposed (imp damage) worked on all "Instant" spells (both heals and direct damage) so it would be more like "Improved Effectiveness" - you're now a 10% better healer and a 10% better nuker.
