Can anyone suggest a good cold DD focus effect that works up to 70? Preferably with 180+ Hp/Mana and in one of my gimpy slots (range, feet, chest, shoulders, ear, gloves, arms or head)

If your Qvic keyed the Band of Dark Auras (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=29100) off Iqthinxa Karnkvi has Discordant Ice. 45% to level 68 is still 36% focus on level 70 spells and a real sweet ring. I personally have the earring off Hulcror and am quite happy with my cold damage however I favor Solstice Strike. I have always favored our fire based spells and will use this any chance I can.

There's also a cold damage augment off the final boss in Ikkinz 4 raids. There's still the Barrier of Freezing winds and Spool of Woven Time and Elemental Tunic. Those time focus items will still work they will just not be at full value as they scale down each additional level. An item with a focus capped at lvl 65 will be at half effectiveness on 70 spells.

Look at my Primary, drops from Zum Volkana in RCoD.

Ya I've thought about that primary but it wouldn't be much of a hp mana upgrade since I have 1.5, yes I am Qvic enabled, guild beat uqua for first time 2 days ago(First american guild on server woot!) so I think I'll try to get one of those rings.

The only druid useable 40% @ 70 CR based foci i know of is Golden Idol of Destruction (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=69162) from the north wing snake of tacvi. of course north wing tacvi is awhile off for ya, so imo you could just go witht he huclor earring for now (oh, CE = l33t too.) Other than the primary in Wyn's magelo the only other 35% oow CR foci i can think of is PG raid trial shield.
