This won't mean much to most people, but....

I got the new instrument set up and running, then
I figured out which filters don't have hex chrome in them, then
I figured out which extraction cups didn't cause contamination, then
I figured out which Bicarb solution didn't have hex chrome in it, then
I figured out how to impregnate the filters with the bicarb without causing contamination, and now....

I've run my first method detection limit study and got ....exactly the number I thought I should get! wooo hooooo! Go me! *pumps fist*

(It's taken me over a month to get this to work, it's all I've been doing for the past month).

You sound like some mad scientist or star trek actors babbling technogobbledygook.

For some reason extraction cups makes me think of "The Machine" in The Princess Bride.

LOL! You do realize, Pan, that from here forwards, I will spend the rest of my career having that image in my head every time I have to use extraction cups? The contract that I've been fine tuning this method for is supposed to run at least 3 years. Three years of seeing Wesley in the tree.

"But he's not dead."
"He's only mostly dead."

I do not think that means what you think that means!

I would just like you to know that today I had to finalize the SOP for the procedure I've been working on. I had to write "extraction cup" approximately 100 times.

I think I'm scarred for life.
