Hello all.

Im not sure this is in the right part of the forums,so I appologize if it isnt,Im new around here.

I was wondering if anyone knew some good places to farm PP with my current gear/level.Im not looking for a spoiler or anything just some good ideas to make some spell/rune money and gear for alts, although good PP is always welcome.

Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Cobalt Scar is a good place but not good enough Exp i guess. Any place that drops gems is fine. Basically not many options with your gear and level... maybe you should equip a bit more.

If you're looking for runes your best bet right now is grouping in NC or WoS. =\

Your gear is better than mine, my druid is 68 and I do alright. There is a ton of variation on gear based on your style of play.

Farming for plat = expect to kill green mobs.
Quad wyverns in CS for gems and hides which sell for decent cash.
Fish for Cobalt cod which sells for ok pp.
Forage Forage Forage - so many things you can sell for plat (veggies especially for bakers) just about anything that you can use in tradeskills can be sold.
Kill for Anaconda and Griffon meat from Surefall Glade (also big tradeskill stuff)
Port for plat - and yes people still pay for ports. I make 600+ plat porting to OoW zones in less than a couple hours.
Farm velks for silver chitin stuff. if it summons you should be ok with your gear assuming that your melee skills are ok you can porcupine most of that stuff down with not too bad down time - have exodus up just in case hehe.

I cant do stuff like solo for runes to sell, but I do ok with what I can do. Your not likely to get xp while farming, so its a trade off most of the time unless your very well equipped and can solo named in oow or god zones.

Thnak you for the suggestions Koldriana. I will hit up CS for a bit and see how things turn out. From what I see in the bazaar on my server Wyvern Hides sell for about 50PP,and Veggies about 5PP,but will try and see.

Keep em coming :p

Go to AC and farm acrylia. Save all the drops to sell to vendor also. Break the acrylia down to pieces to save room and sell in Baz.

you might also get a grimling skin mask, a breastplate or chain tunic to drop which fetch a bit in the Baz.

I don't want to nitpick, since this is kind of veering away from the original point of this thread, but veggies might not be as big of a moneymaker as they used to be...they can now be made by anybody. The recipe trivials at 15, which is the universal "no fail" number. However, you might still be able to make a little plat off of selling your unwanted veggies to people who a) don't know they can now be made, or b) don't want to take the time to make them. :)

I would push hard to get a group going in WOS. If you sit around and wait for a group to come along and wisk you off of your feet - we'll see you in the Unkempt Druids section shortly :D Just grab a pally and 4 other anybody's and head off to WOS to start clearing mobs and getting the named to pop.

This will not be as steady as farming gems and what not for plats - my theory though is that you get 1 lucky drop and boom its a nice upgrade OR 10,000 - 50,000 or so plats in 1 shot. Takes a lot of gem farming to make that kinda green. If you pushed hard to do this for 1 full week - you are almost guaranteed at least 1 of these drops - probably 3-4 depending on how long your play sessions are and how quickly you can get the group going.

just to add on teia's suggestion, might wanna try RCoD as you can (with a group that is.) Its better xp than WoS, and at least on my server the stuff generally sells better. WoS is so popular that the supply of drops from there just has the market flooded, and most of the drops from popular xp spots sells for 2-4k, whereas RCoD stuff sells more for what the value "looks" like it would be , 20-40ishk, i even got 125k not too long ago for some souldrainer drop.

just to some things up, its probly better just to find a group in OOW zone and just try to win rolls. in the long run, it will be more plat. on top of that, the mobs arent greenies, and theres actully some good xp to get there.

I was surprised when I found that out too, Koldriana ;) I was actually kind of happy because even us foragers run out of veggies from time to time! Put a carrot, lettuce, and turnip in a mixing bowl or collapsible mixing bowl and you will have veggies! They work in all recipes the foraged kind do.

O - M - G Thanks Pulv now I can get back on with the backing skill! Wish I had known that before, I've been saving vegetables for weeks only to get 2 tradeskill points up.

Oh and to fix your AC in magelo you need to raise your skills (like defensive, offensive etc.). That should work

At least on the Seventh Hammer, Wyvern Hide have taken a hit since OOW. I used to sell them for 200pp per hide. Last time I tried to sell them they would not sell for 100pp. I now hoard them formy own tailorng skillups.

At level 67 most of the vampires in Tenebrous Mts. castle are green, however there are four nice lt. blue named vamps with wings. I dire charm a dog outside, kill the two guards at entrance then the one inside the door to the right.. usually one of the winged vampires is downstairs as well. . . flying around. After killing the guards he's easily pulled outside - just toss him a dot. . . run and dot, for he can't be snared or rooted. . . doggy eats him up from the rear while he's chasing you. Dot, dot, blast blast . . they don't hit too hard. Just be careful not to run too far afield outside the castle or you'll get bats and dog aggro - a pain. Root em and sic doggy on em later.

The named light blue flyers drop diamonds, blue diamonds, sapphire necklaces, some gear, other nice gems. . . Next go to the first set of "stairs" inside - actually it's a ramp -(the coeterie guards repop fast- might have to re-kill them) - you can harmony the two green coteries at bottom of stairs . . . Onto the stairs you go to med up . . . if another flying named comes down the stairs you can run back and forth from top to near the bottom as pet beats him down along with your dots. Or you can hightail back out the door - training some greenies, but they won't follow far - the named, however will keep following you. They pause to cast, gives you chance to escape. LOL . .

. . . kill generals at top of stairs to right - or not . . . up second set of stairs (which are stairs, not ramp) kill general and coeterie there - another named flying around up at the very top in the room . . . the new pally epic mob is there as well - hovering in the center (dark blue - need help to take him, but he doesn't seem to aggro if you stay on the stairtop). Kill the lt. blue who is flying around. Pull him to YOU. . . or the pally mob might aggro.

Another lt. blue named Emissary Obodobo (or something) can also pop at the top of the ramp-stairs. He's very easy to kill, drops some nice loot, too. Just watch for him on track.

Make about 1k easy in an hour - it's challenging, and you get a tiny bit of aa exp from the nameds as well. Don't forget to buff your pet, too. . . it helps.
