Now more than likely this is a stupid question.....but I still have to ask as it's bugging me and I don't know the answer.

Playing on Zek, I cast Hand of Ro on players. Normally its fine other than the odd resist of course. The problem is that I also often get the message "your spell did not take hold" as if it is being blocked by something. Is there a buff that blocks Hand of Ro and doesn't get overwritten (Mainly I seem to have problems with this on rangers, but not exclusively) ? Or if they are full buff bar will it simply not take hold/overwrite an existing buff ?

And kind of related...why the hell does Malo overwrite seasons ? Following this logic, surely tash should overwrite resist magic...or is that more stupidity on my part ?

I hate this "Bug", hand of ro does not stick on rangers for some reason. It has nothing to do with how many buffs he has, if he had too many it would cancel one and go into the buffslot. But i dont know what the stacking problem is. Prolly one of the ranger only buffs

Ranger and SK self buffs completely block them due to a stacking line that prevents spells with lower than 118 ac or such in a particular slot from overwriting... problem is, the -42 or so AC on hand is less than 118, and so it blocks it from landing.
