What would you recomend for a druid?

Halfling, obviously.

Human!

If I *had* to choose between just those two though, I'd say halfling. They can make haversacks (weight reduction bags).

Halflings have all the advantages... xp bonus, can sneak, great cultural tailoring, dont need to shrink on raids, great newbie area (no longer relevant, but still...), etc.

But obviously us wood-elves reign in the looks department!

I, personally, think Half-Lings are better (for the obvious reasons stated above). I think wood elfs are cooler though :)

Wood elves are far greater because our added height places us in a strategically safer proximity to Troll and Ogre Posteriors, which is proven safer ESPECIALLY for those druids who carry open flame such as torches.

Simply put.... Woodelves own the druid in everquest. Yes its all about looks.. but woodelves are simply better looking, and look better in armor. Halflings look like midgets that need a brush for the feet....

anyways seriously, in the long run when your level 70 wood elf is better then halfling allthough halfling is much easyer to get to 70. if you wanna spend your time to make a good druid id recommend wood elf.

Ewwwe.. halflings are too close to the ground for my tastes. I actually carry a maximizing device for my wood elf and use it when grinding.

'sides, 300 in fletching for those that tradeskill is pure hell if you're not a woodie. I did fletching from 250 to 300 in 4 hours dirt cheap doing mithril champion arrows.

Woodelves are hotter! :) Bottom line~ :) Just don't tell the Halfers that!

I've played both: first a Wood Elf, then a Halfling (both female). For me, the Halfling is much more fun, and seems to fit into the role much more comfortably.

I've played both half elf and wood elf druids...but I think wood elf makes a better druid for starting out with a decent forage skill and nice cultural tailoring armors. Besides, halfling are too short for my taste :p

Wood Elves all the way, and I've heard people say halflings get more wisdom. Unless I read the stats correctly both start out with the same base.

Hmmm... Personally, I would say that a Wood Elf is better just because of their back ground, but who am I to say? I just love Wood Elves, but I'm inheriting a family members Druid as an upgrade to mine... My Wood Elf Druid is level 56 or 57, and I'm getting the position of a 70 Druid with a lot of AAs, so I'll see what I like better. :)

What can I say? Wood Elves are the best. Why, if I was a Halfling, no one would talk to me. But Wood Elf Hawtness? Tell hell ;P
