Is the event in Harbinger's Spires for the 1.5, where you kill Azibelle and Glenfire, like the one in South Karana, where if you loot one but not all, you have to destroy it and start over? A 63necro and I were able to single pull Glenfire and rot her, but by the time I got back to pull Azibelle, she was gone. Tried waiting for 20min, then tried zoning, waiting a few, and zoning back in, to no avail. So will I have to destroy my crystal and start over, or do I have to wait a bit longer (for the respawn time) and then I would only have to kill Azibelle? No word on it in either guides here. Its probably the destroy scenario, but thought I'd ask before I destroyed it.

Thankfully no, you will not have to destroy the crystal. I was able to single root rot one of them, but it took so long because of that wanderer (wish I would of killed it first before it agro'd me), the other had despawned.

2 or 3 hours later the event will reset. Go back in and pull the other one. If I remember right, the guy was easier than the gal.

Goodluck.

Thanks much for the answer, makes my life alot easier.
I believe both are females, actually, however, I suppose the dark elf looks a little manish from far away. :behindcom

I was worried about despawns, so my friend and I pulled the SK first, seeing as I could put all my mana into dps instead of healing after the necro dots me up. So now time for the necro, which will prob be harder.

I have a question though about pulling her. When we pulled the SK, what we did was kinda funny. Not being uber enuff to clear out the hallways with sufficient mana to pull one before respawns occured, I had my necro friend pull all the mobs between the spawn point and the exit, and fd them in a side room while I pulled the SK, snared her near the zone out, and then zoned. Since Azibelle would be continually stopping to cast on me, it was easy to single pull the sk away.

That's where the prob comes up. If we try this tactic again, I'll just end up getting beat up by the sk while trying to pull the necro. Also, if I snare the SK at the start to slow her down, even then I don't think my necro friend can hold the adds off long enuff for me to get Azibelle at least out of the range where they'd aggro me. And FD pulling her would be hard, because she casts, which might end the FD prematurely.

Any ideas? Thanks again for the help, very appreciated.

Snare (or root) the SK, innate camo and RUN! Not too far tho, just into the main corridor, turn left and then immediately right, hit innate camo again and run towards the entrance. She's gonna be far eneough from you not to cast.. at entrance stop and spam snare on her.. when it sticks, egress.

What you have to keep in mind is that she gates. You have to break root at 19% and be at full health yourself for her to turn and not gate. Can rot her in the first corridor to right from zone-in.. eneough room in there to re-root.

Also, the other mobs in the zone will not assist them. They will only agro you if you get too close to them. I root/rotted them up by ZI and the wanderer there would walk right over them and not agro. I just got too close once and agro'd them is all.

Also, the when the necro gates, that was always a pain in the butt. Start nuking her when she gets to 20% and hope she doesn't.

I had to make a few attempts at this solo, and ended up zoning out a couple times to figure it out.

No innate camo yet, though I'll try it with superior, just hope I can get it off and out of casting range before she hits me with something.

I knew the other mobs don't assist them, my problem with pulling to zone was that I couldn't get camo off before one of them would start hitting me, so I had to run w/o invis.

Innate invis is one of those aa's you can't live without. But for some reason, whenever I save up enuff aa's, I see something else and forget about innate, thinking "I can always invis anyway." Sigh...

What you can do is hit with ensnare and run out of zone.
Come back, hit with something and run out of zone.

Each time he/she walks a little closer to zonein. Might take you a few zonings to get through the discordling room (or the other way), but it's doable. To aggro you can cast a dot or something else with long range. Just remember to land a new snare after 10 minutes :) :box:

Or you can finally get Innate Camo :) Most of my EQ playing time i'm invis.. hitting IC after fight has saved me a few times when others died.

Use the corners to make her move faster as well. A mob will only cast at you if they have line of sight.

I did the pull with no innate camo without too much difficulty, you just need to time your invis to land after the necro's spells do.

If you cant find a corner you can get out of range of the spell then run back to aggro her again.

Kill the SK first, the necro will dump mana into offensive spells, then you can kill her easily with a much lower chance of gate. Plus, there's always stormwatch.

I did kill the SK first, but with the couple of adds we got, by the time we got back to get the necro, it depopped. My further questions were how to single pull the necro w/o IC. Thanks for the suggestions all, I'll try them when I get the chance. Either that, or wait the 2 aa's I need for IC.
