Hi druids grove members,

I'm new here and I would like to ask a few questions, hopefully you can help me. My friend just retired from EQ to play WoW and gave me his level 70 druid, his stats are 7000 mana unbuffed and FT 15. He does not have all his spells up to level 70, mostly the ones 65 and lower with a few exceptions such as Ten and Damage Shield spells. My questions are as follow:

I want to solo. My hours I play are very irregular and I never get the chance to group, or even see people for that matter. I'm elemental flagged, and also KT flagged, but not Qvic. As far as I know, I haven't seen any Focus effect items on the druid, but I have 50k in the bank to help me buy some if I need them.

What zone, what mobs wield the best XP? Root/dot, or snare/dot, or what? What spells are best for these strategies?

How is quad kiting done? I have heard about it but do not understand how it is done.

I have the potime clicky orb of swarming death, and epic 1.0 and blade of tempest if that helps any.

Just basically looking for information, I'm very new to the druid class and dont understand a lot of it, however I'm confident in my ability to solo if given good advice.

Thank you for your time, please respond if you have a few moments it will greatly help me in my future. Thank you, Kassiopia. :wavey:

quadding in fire where the fennin script starts will probably be your best solo and group exp. How quadding works is pretty simple. Snare 4 mobs, run around in circles (basically) until they are all on top of each other. Then use Karana's Rage. You'll probably go OOM without tash since they are semi resistant, so twisting free SD and tempest blade is a good idea too. each quad will give you almost half an AA

something people arent pointing out on this thread that was pointed out on the linked thread is if hes new to being a druid he should start small and near a zone line, there is was suggested NC ( i cant take the credit for that 1) id like to add HOH at the enterance could be good for learning the basics of all 3 primary druid soloing styles from quadding to root rotting to eaven pet kiting while not the greatest xp at 70 its farely safe and can get you the basics down

With those clickies, might want to root/dot and work on crit affliction AAs?

I've never had great dot clickies, so I'm an alt spec druid with evoc as secondary forte. Maybe a real dotting druid with those clickies can comment on the exp rate? :)

I did a lot of charm kiting at 65, but haven't found any really good charming to do at 70. :(
