Remember, Omens/Dragons damage foci work on dots and nukes, so the magic focus is useful to us.

And we can't use Xxeric's Battleworn Bracer.

Agreed, especially when it comes to Improved Healing. Tonight I bought the Tacvi Bulwark of Lost Souls, then was disappointed to see my heal spells still using my Gaelin's sleeves effect. I thought something was wrong until I realized that's exactly what it was supposed to do. Until I get the OoW Ancient heal spell, the effect (40% improved healing Blessing of the Pious) on my new shield is useless - because the 45% improved healing of Discordant Healing is better.

In short, if you use Chlorotrope or a lower lvl heal spell, the Discordant Healing effect is better until you get Ancient Chlorobon. :frown:

So far I've followed this list when bidding on stuff and it's a damn good list :)
Got first three focii at max, 4th is close (ring of ire intent). Also got 2nd best heal focus and 40% fire focus. Only thing I'm missing right now is ice damage focus, but we have access to 2nd and 3rd best drops, so it's just a matter of time.

I would greatly appreciate if some DoD experts could find the time and add more stuff here :) My guild is not raiding DoD.

i'm in the middle of redoing parts of my database to store location info better, so a lot of those don't have location yet. also have not updated in about 2 days, but don't think much has changed.

at some point i'll automate an html layout so it's prettier, but personally i like that format so it may be a week or two til i get around to it.

disregard any previous links i made above, this will be the link for the next 3-6 months. i've argued with myself back and forth over how high or low end to generate the list and settled on the fairly high end. if there is interest i can generate another list that spans down further.

i've been a bum researching most the DoDh stuff, i have the zones set up but not the mobs/raids yet.

also, i don't usually include augs. i've recently corrected some bugs that i had in the aug list and could add them, i suppose. just that most augs with focus effects are tradeskilled and, well, i hate tradeskills.

that one is pretty heavy since it encompasses all classes. give it a min to completely load in the graphics and you'll get the pop ups like on eqitems. frankly, it's too heavy, it should have been split up by slots but i was just experimenting.

i am considering doing something similar to that for just druid gear and focus gear. the list should be limited enough that it shouldn't take too long to download. maybe i'll take out the left side item graphics to limit it further.

if ya have a suggestion for format, feel free to offer it up :) been playing with it for a while now and just haven't found a format i really like, so i default to text mode.

now is the time to start being more conservative on the focus you buy. we have about 5 months to the next expansion and if the trend continues of a level increase every 5th expansion, all these focus items will become obsolete.

I've been curious how they're going to scale them this time. Last time around, they had two sets of focus to consider, the PoP focus, which were made level 67 before diminishment and GoD focus, which were made 68 before diminishment. I willl add them to the list when I have confirmation that they are indeed live.

EDIT: Dev hints that next expansion will remain on schedule (so september). It was indicated otherwise in the past or at least that's how I took it from the HoC chat. Anyway, there's no hints at post 70 levels appearing as of yet.

Sorry that I can't be of much help to this thread. I haven't been on EverQuest since last summer... That will be changing though... In about a week or two, I'll be getting back on. :) This thread has been very helpful, and I have a few ideas of what I'm going to be aiming towards for my Druid... :)

You can filter by druid items only and it will display the strongest gear down to the weakest gear sorted by focus strength at level 75. It also shows the scaling for focus items for each level.
