What good does it do to measure them while flaccid? Seems kind of pointless....True, "flaccid" can vary a lot for one person, and I recall reading somewhere that there isn't much correlation between the flaccid and erect size. Plus, they didn't measure width, or total volume...

Actually I kind of thought the same thing about measuring flaccid vs. erect. It seems that one would want to measure the 'fully functional' size of something. That sort of seems like measuring tire height without it inflated. Doesn't really tell you much about the functionality of it.

Realistically, I've never measured any man's penus, so I suppose I wouldn't know how many inches either flaccid or erect a "typical" penis was.

Exactly what I was wondering. Another thing I ws wondering is how you would tell that someone is fully flaccid. Any ammount of arousal could have skewed the results. Something about this "study" doesn't seem scientific.

Girls do that way more then guys. Have to have the perfect makekup and perfect haircut and perfect breast and perfect outfit and well just perfect supermodel look in general. It doesn't matter.

There is much variation in size that's why most measurments are erect like you're measuring the biggest possible. Things like recently having sex or taking a shower can affect it. It's like measuring the weather from inside your house.

Two things I need to point out:

1. Don't forget about the 'Castanza shrinkage factor'
2. I am assuming that none of the guys that read this board were asked to participate in this study, myself included. Thus, we did not get a chance to raise the average. :wink:
