I'm getting at least 3 daily spams that slip through all the spam filters that advertises Soma, Levitra and Cialis. Is anyone else getting innundated with that? I wish they'd add those words to the spam filters at Cox!

The spam filters comcast have work really well, however I have noticed this last week that about 10 emails have slipped though. I don't read them, no idea what they're about. Time to update the filter's apprently!

I gave up on spam filters because apparently the spam filters used by my ISPs both at work and at home (2 different ISPs) only filter out messages I want to receive. Messages from spammers make it through just fine. Heck, my home ISP was filtering out messages I sent myself from work.

So, uh, I guess the answer is yes, I am getting many many spam emails about drugs. Actually, if it makes you feel better, it seems the drug spam emails have increased quite a bit in the last month or so, where the pr0n and home mortgage spams have dropped off. I figure it must be cyclical, like the swallows returning to capistrano. You can tell it's spring because a spammers thoughts turn to penis enlargement. Or something like that.

I haven't gotten spam in months, and my ISP hasn't blocked any messages I want to receive. The trick is to use a long address with letters and numbers and never give your e-mail to any place you don't trust or to a commercial site that's advertising-oriented and/or doesn't have a good privacy policy. Also create a "dirty" e-mail address, one you can rename often, for sites you don't particularly trust.
